Join Jeremy and Steph for yoga in Arcadia's beer garden this summer - bring your mat and enjoy a refreshing midweek stretch in the beautiful outdoors! Down Dog will offer Yoga at Arcadia Kalamazoo every Wednesday from 6-7pm  in June, July, and August. The $10 fee, payable at Arcadia's bar, includes one beer or non-alcoholic beverage plus an hour yoga class.

Due to the popularity of Yoga in the Beer Garden, you can only register three days before each class - and space is limited - so be sure to sign up every week to save your spot!  Pre-registered participants will be notified if class is cancelled due to weather.

STAND UP PADDLE BOARD YOGA  WITH KRISTIN FIORE

Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga (SUP Yoga) combines our love of nature, adventure, and yoga - whether you are a first time paddle boarder or a lifelong yogi, come explore your practice on the water of Long Lake! We begin on land with an introduction to SUP equipment and safety before we take a short paddle and drop our anchors for class. SUP Yoga focuses on getting comfortable moving on a floating surface and connecting to our playful spirit. Class ends with a sweet savasana (final relaxation) lying down on our boards and settling into our fluid nature.

SUP Yoga is limited to 12 Participants:

  • 8 spots are available with rental equipment including a paddle board, paddle, anchor, and life jacket delivered to Long Lake. NOTE: Reservations including rental equipment must be made at least 24 hours before class. 

  • 4 spots are available for students with their own boards/paddles/life jacket. NOTE: Life jacket is required on your SUP by law. Online registration is NOT available for this pricing option - please call the studio at 269-993-2486 to sign up if you are providing your own equipment.

  • When registering, please give us a current cell phone number in case we need to contact you regarding a weather cancellation or change of location due to water conditions

  • Plan to arrive a few minutes early to get familiar with equipment and be ready to start class at 5:45pm.

This process allows us to walk the internal spiritual path of enlightenment where we discover harmony and alignment to our own inner Mystic. Join us for a Fall Equinox Seasonal Gong Celebration to renew your inner light through the deep relaxing sound of Sacred Gongs. Dress in comfortable clothing to sit or lie down and feel free to bring anything that might help you get comfortable - the studio has blankets, bolsters, and yoga mats for your use.
